Advice for Future Apologists

In 1 Peter 3:15, Christians are commanded: "In your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." From the Greek word for "give an answer" comes the word "apologetics."

Christians are commanded to be apologists. But how do we go about this? In this video, seven experienced Christian apologists (Douglas Groothuis, Gary Habermas, Craig Hazen, Mike Licona, Nabeel Qureshi, Mary Jo Sharp, and Frank Turek) share their thoughts.

  2. A friend of mine said Jesus could not have said "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Lightl, because he spoke Aramaic, and there's no difference between 'the' and 'a'. I had no rebuttal....

  7. Hello David,
My name is Tom Riley and I live in Staten Island, NY. I'm a big fan of your apologetic videos concerning Islam. I'm amazed at your proficiency with the Quran. I'm currently am working on, by God's grace, to set up a local ministry where I visit churches on the island and teach Christians about the Quran in order to help them contend for the faith. I have a descent knowledge of the Quran, yet I know it could be better. Would you be able to recommend some good resources where I can enhance my understanding? Is there any particular translation you recommend above others? Currently I'm using Usama Dakdok's the Generous Quran but am not sure that that's the best. Keep up the great work brother!
